The mighty Colorado River did not seem so mighty when I saw it yesterday. This could all be the result of the drought (and climate change), but it made me think about the two dams at both ends of the canyon, Hoover Dam and Glen Canyon Dam. These dams are marvels of engineering, and is a vital power source, but seems the environmental cost is enormous.
